Over the past decade, one of the key ways we've lived the Shine Our Light philosophy is through our Servant Leadership Program. Our interns gain unique, hands-on experience on the front lines, often working directly within our manufacturing teams. They have access to all of our tools, resources, and systems, ensuring a truly customized internship experience.
Shine Our Light Series: Nordstrom’s AP Audit Team
Jody B. and the AP Audit Team has been hard at work improving their processes through simplification which has lead to greater joy and lower training burden for new team members. They eliminated 10 reports and 30 folders from the team’s daily work (a 225% and 287% improvements respectively).
Shine Our Light Series: Nordstrom’s Invoice Processing Team
Last we heard from Jenna, she was leading the Vendor Relations team and shared an incredible story of improvement. Now, as the leader of the invoice processing team, she lead the team to introduce flow lines and standard work to see an 80% drop in aged balance.
