Q & R: Why does gratitude matter?

Ok, this might sound cheesy, but we ought to be more grateful! We learn this from a young age - it is polite in a civilized society. But let's tackle this from a scientific approach: why DOES gratitude matter?

We wanted to celebrate Thanksgiving a little early by connecting with the kaaspass community to reflect on gratitude. Why gratitude?

Expected outcomes:

To learn about the impacts of gratefulness and leave feeling good!

Format:

There will be a plenary teaching session followed by some hands on learning including sharing some things you’re grateful for.

Technical requirements:

  • A desktop computer, iPad, or laptop (one device per person)

  • Zoom (with mic & video)

Prerequisites

Have attended a Waste Tour (in-person or virtually)

Prework

Some prework content will be sent out closer to the date so it is fresh on our minds.
